I love food. Omelette Recipe for a 💑
I love waking up early to eat my breakfast
This is my morning schedule. I target to wake up at six in the morning. And I nail it every morning by waking up dot at six especially when every night when I send this particular request to myself right before bed(it's not a secret anymore)
Fun Fact: Leaving the bed for real is an option for many. It is a choice for me.
Right after waking up, I drink a tall glass of water. It is good to start your day hydrated because the body has not been hydrated for almost 7- 8 hours by now. I freshen up. Div talking to herself "Am I the first one in the house to wake up to this beautiful morning? Sun is looking gorgeous. Isn't it."
I drink the herbal tea and consume one teaspoon of minced organic turmeric root along with the tea. I finish my chant and yoga at around eightish. Take a shower, log in at work. Perks of working from home. An everyday ritual of preparing morning breakfast and enjoying eating it with absolutely no rush.
Wow. I already love my life.
This brings me to share a recipe with y'all. I am going to make an omelette. You can also call it "Garden Omelette." The list of ingredients is right below along with the making steps. Please follow along. But first put your favorite music on( low volume, please, shhh)
"Garden Omelette Recipe: For a couple."
Ingredients:
- Take five eggs. 1/2 extra for each one. For more love and strength.
- A handful of spinach. A few extra leaves should be fine.
- 3–4 baby sweet corns. The ones you get in a can.
- Half tomato 🍅 exactly the emoji. I forgot the farm name of the tomato. Oopsie.
- Green chilies. Maybe 5 if you like it spicy 🥵
- 3/4th Onion 🧅
- 2 tsp of olive oil to saute onions.
- Salt and ground black pepper and Olive oil to cook.
Note: You can add mushrooms, kale, or yellow and red sweet bell peppers. I added one small yellow bell pepper. Garlic is optional. I added two cloves because I am garlicy, and I like the aroma of it.
Steps:
Saute the onions first few minutes until they start to turn pink. Add garlic and saute for 1–2 minutes on medium flame. Add the rest of the vegetables and saute them for not more than 3–4 minutes on a medium-low flame. On the side, in a bowl break 5 eggs in a bowl. Whisk them. Add the vegetables right after. Add salt and ground black pepper. The order of adding it can vary. But if you like the chef's way. Then just go in flow as you like[whenever you want] You will realize this later, the way you temper the order decides the taste of it.
Play around. Be creative.
You can add cheese on the top. I will suggest either grated cheddar or the slices. Whichever one is present at home. Don't bother a lot about cheese. It's optional anyway.
Next, keep the omelette for 4–5 minutes covered with a lid on a medium flame. It's time to flip already. Flip the Omelette like a boss( just make sure you don't break it, or else you will spoil the streak.)
Cmon you got it.
Yes, you did it.
On the side take four slices of bread. Either toast them in a toaster or heat them up on the pan itself.
Voila! It is done.

So simple. Right?
Don't forget to take a picture and share it with me in the comments. You can also more stuff and tell me what changes did you make in yours. Also, share with me your thoughts on {Taste X Texture}

Thank you for reading it.
Meanwhile, Sahil(my hubby) was enjoying it and asking me what extra did I add to it. I reply "Cheese."
He replied, "Cheese makes it c — h — e — w — i — e — r. Like good chewy." Sahil freaked out at me when I asked him for the 4 th time now in a row, "Is it good?" I was overthinking.
Anyway, share with me your thoughts, and comments. Esp. what you liked and disliked.
