I Live By Kindness
If there’s one word that guides my life, that’s kindness

Of all the words in the dictionary, the one I use to guide my life is kindness.
You’re not kind if you’re disrespectful.
You’re not kind if you’re violent.
You’re not kind if you’re judgmental.
Kindness is such a beautiful word. It’s centre stage in my house. Not only do I teach my kids to be kind, but I’m also kind towards them.
You’re not kind if you’re not listening.
You’re not kind if you’re selfish.
You’re not kind if you’re arrogant.
The root of kindness is in being considerate — showing careful thought towards others and trying to do no harm. Of course, we’re only human.
I try to be kind to myself, too. That’s really tough sometimes. But there’s no kindness without self-respect.
To live a life of kindness is to live in mindfulness — a life filled with respect, generosity, genuine connections, prosperity, wellness, and joy.
