Where I live, we’re in the middle of HEAT. No rain, fierce sun, and daytime temps in the mid 30s. That’s 90s for my fellow Americans stuck in Fahrenheit land.

So what better Prism & Pen writing prompt? Do you like it hot? What do you like hot? For me, Marilyn Monroe and blazing beaches come to mind. But so do fiery protest marches, pizza just out of a wood-fired oven, and sexy men. The possibilities are endless.

Today, Prism & Pen issues a new two-week writing challenge: I Like It Hot.

It’s time to tell stories!

Read this challenge any way you like. We’re calling for fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. You can write about any kind of heat you can dream up.

What matters is you, your storytelling perspective, and your writing.
