Higher Self: “One time for the conscious mind.”

Curiosity: “But what if the conscious mind is really blind?”

Higher Self: “Then you have a problem on your hand.

Because it’s hard to convince a man.

That he doesn’t know what he thinks he knows.

It’s like trying to tell him you don’t have the money that he knows he’s owed.

He’s not trying to hear it.

It’s not that he fears it.

He’s just not ready to connect his right mind to the spirit.”

Why isn’t he ready? Well, for me, it was because I was stuck in my wayward ways. Ignorance is not bliss, in fact, it’s amongst the worst things we could ever experience. Ignorance, in its simplest form, means “not to know.” What is it that we don’t know? The truth. How is it that we don’t know the truth? Because we were fed falsehood for most of our lives. Half was due to unseen forces, whose primary objective is to control every aspect of human life. While the other half was due to generations of miseducated individuals, who played important roles in our upbringings. Unlike the former, the latter was not intentionally out to misguide us but when the proper direction is unknown, it can’t be offered.

There will come a time in every person’s life when living will feel like simply existing, this feeling will spark a desire in all, but the said desire will not be the same in everyone. Some will desire to live their own dreams, while others will desire to obtain their dream position at the company they’re now employed at. Once I realized I could become my own boss, not doing so wasn’t an option.

Once I decide to get out of my own way, I could see things as they were meant to be seen. I began to associate myself with the right people, who were eager to help someone eager to help himself. I connected my right mind to the spirit and when I say the change came quickly, I’m not exaggerating. It became less about me, and more about others. Whatever I could do to make life better for others, I did it, within reason that is to say. And in turn, people showed their gratitude by returning the favor.

In 2013 I realized that sharing my words with others was my purpose, and I believed this was supposed to be done via T-shirts. The said belief overtook my mind after I had a vision where people were wearing T-shirts I created, and that displayed inspirational messages.

So, in 2014 I and my wife started our T-shirt company, Tees That Rule. But little did we both know that this accomplishment was only meant to show us that living a dream, was beyond possible. Sure, we had significant success in the business we started together but it wasn’t as great as it could have been, seeing this wasn’t what we were supposed to be doing. We plan, but the Most High is the best of planners.

Like I stated earlier, I realized that sharing my words with others was my purpose, but I was going at it in the wrong manner. My words were destined to be in books, seeing T-shirts can only display part of the story. So, I began really working on a book that had had my interest for 9 years. The said book longed to live, but my perfectionism wouldn’t allow it to, or so I believed.

Every moment has its time, and it wasn’t time for my first book to have its moment. Another book had to be created which would show me how the book in question was destined to be written. The mystery book was just that, a mystery. I had no intentions of writing Positive Energy 24/7, this was truly a creation God wanted to be created. For the most part, the material within the said book is conclusions I drew and based on my experiences, within a three-year period. Though what you read is true, I never thought to put the said conclusions within the book, in fact, I never ponder at any point about anything about the book outside of the name. Positive Energy 24/7 established my belief in divine intervention because the book in question has God’s fingerprints all over it. For helping give God what He desired, I was shown the way my first book, which would become my second book, was meant to be written. Yes, Positive Energy 24/7 showed me how It Was Destine..Urban Legend was meant to be written. True story.

Since self-publishing my first two books, with the help of my lovely wife, I’ve written enough content to create ten more books. And everything I write is written to help others be in the best possible position to help themselves. I humbly say that my words have inspired many people to do many things, including self-publishing their own books. Currently, I’m promoting my third self-published book, The Gumbo: Food For Thought, which is without question my greatest accomplishment from the literary standpoint. When we’re blessed, we’re obligated to be a blessing.
