FUTURE
I Have Started a New Novel Project
I have again started writing a new novel. It is not the first and probably not the last novel project I dare this year.
Starting a new writing project that is as extensive as writing a novel is relatively easy. It is more difficult to carry it out as I wish, with daily writing sessions of at least 3000 words.
It requires, among other things, that I have clear ideas and a fairly clear plan for the course of action. But perhaps most importantly, I have clear thoughts about the narrator’s voice that will guide the reader through the novel.
But now, as I said, I venture out on such extensive creative writing work again, and then we’ll see if it works out.
I want to put the story into a larger context, where I place people and events in an existential context and bring out the big questions in life that I think are important to almost every human being.
My main focus in this novel is nevertheless to tell a story about people who are in the middle of a chaos, and who seek direction and answers where they see opportunities to find truth.
Below is a draft prologue and chapter 1. The working title for the project is:
The Last Human in the Milky Way
