TRAVEL
I Have No Idea How To Travel Now
I feel so out of touch

I used to take one long trip a year and several shorter trips during the rest of the months. Long trips can take up to three weeks at a time, while the shorter ones might span over a weekend.
Like many others around the world, my travel plans were derailed for years.
I haven’t gone anywhere further than half an hour away by car.
Now that the pandemic seems to be clearing up, it might be time to travel again very soon! I’m elated at the thought!
However, as I thought more about it, I realized how out of touch I am with the entire travel process. I feel so anxious about it.
The very thought of seeing so many people and being in public again is daunting enough. I have so many questions.
- Do I need to do covid tests?
- Do I need to quarantine?
- What if additional documentation is required?
- How many extra things should I pack?
- Would I be able to handle wearing a mask on long-haul flights?

In fact, I’m almost forgetting what to pack and how to pack! It all feels so foreign to me now.
I’m not even sure where all my bags and travel gear are. I feel like it might be gathering dust in the back of a closet.
There are no trips planned in the short future. However, I think I should start organizing travel ideas and maybe start to remind myself about how to travel.
For those of you who have travelled through the pandemic, what is the process like now?
