I have had 3 spam comments on my writing in one day…

The Daily Cuppa is a warm fuzzy place, as are all the wonderful short forms posted here. I’m writing this out of concern for us all.

There are scammers out there who persistently invade our special place — Medium — in an attempt to gain their own audience.

These sods are persistent and clever. Where there is a will, there is a way.

I implore everyone who gets a comment who references your article but then starts on a rant about cryptocurrency, to immediately report the author to Medium using the 3 dots…

If you just block them, Medium likely does not know why — and once reported, you have the option to block.

We’ve gotta stick together to beat the bots and keep Medium a happy, safe place to write.
