An Interesting way to get more followers on Medium.

I am writing on Medium from the past one and a half year and I am hopeful that this journey of me being on Medium last longer. When I just joined Medium getting viewers on your Medium stories was the most hectic job. You only get more viewers on your Medium stories when you publish your story in a big publication or getting curated in a topic. Curation is an alien thing for me, never happened with me because I am writing on Medium and sometimes my stories aren’t just worth curating.

Getting curated or published in a popular publication might be an easy job compared to getting followers on Medium. When I was struck in getting more followers on Medium I started uploading videos about Medium. In my videos, i have discussed everything a beginner writer needs to know. I have made a Medium Everything playlist on YouTube where till now I have uploaded over 19 videos about Medium. These videos generate 1,000 to 2,000 viewers every month and people check out my articles and follow my Medium account from there.

I have talked to some Medium writers who are regularly curated or published in popular publications and they aren’t getting more followers and try very hard to reach their first 1,000 followers.
