Abstract

I just want to bask in the sunshine of acceptance. Any form of acceptance is good and beautiful.</p><p id="a918"><b>What does acceptance into the Partner Program mean for me personally?</b> It’s a step in the right direction. It’s a chance to earn more money from my writing. I realize this is just one avenue for potential income and I need more than Medium, but it <i>is </i>an avenue. It is a stream from which financial energy can flow to me.</p><p id="287f">It’s another step toward replacing my income from the physical job I left.</p><p id="0772">So, I will be writing a lot more here on Medium, knowing now what I have been empowered to accomplish. I will continue to be a positive voice and give back to the Medium community that has just begun to wrap me up in its warmth and welcoming. I waited 4 long business days, but I finally got my email! I’m in the Partner Program now. I am unnecessarily excited. I am motivated. I am living my best life. Medium let me into the club.

It’s 2am and I’m normally asleep, but I’ve been antsy and restless tonight. I have writing on the brain, and Medium constantly at the back of my mind.

I can’t help but feel bolstered with a renewed sense of confidence and self-assurance. I know I shouldn’t pin my worth as a writer on an external source. Being accepted is not even really a testimony of my ability to write well, just a nod that I can get followers. I’m working on my self-worth issues; but, for now I just want to bask in the sunshine of acceptance. Any form of acceptance is good and beautiful.
