I hate to be a bubble buster, but, Dude, however fun it is to earn $50 for a story here, it most definitely does not qualify as ‘viral’ and bragging about your $50 story about a Medium announcement everyone can read in their inboxes in a second Medium post is beyond bleh.

I love reading genuine success stories and stats that are helpful, but we’ve got a massive influx of bad writing about bad writing, written by people who honestly know very little about anything other than that a bazillion of us are suckers for the word “Medium” in a title, almost guaranteeing that these garbage stories will earn something, as well as guaranteeing the self-perpetuation of the scheme. This is me barfing. Again. #sleazywriter
