Summarize

I had sex with my gay friend, Richard.πŸ‘¬To find out if he was really gay.

I was 17 & he was 16 in 1976. He was my bestie! We talked about everything!

We talked about fashion and music.

We talked about EVERYTHING! Richard gave me πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦° hair and πŸ’„makeup tips. We giggle NONSTOP! β€” πŸ’β€β™€ This was face to face, β€”( Ν‘Β° ΝœΚ– Ν‘Β°) β€” NO INTERNET. β€” πŸ“žNO CELL PHONES! β€” PURE UNCUT TALKING AND FRIENDS!

Of course, we talked about love and sex.

Richard was so cute. I thought I was a geek! Teen bullshit. 🐰 (At 31 some crazy ass person decided to pay me to be a Playboy model,)

All of his buddies were gay guys.

We were into theater…GO FIGURE!

Richard was on fire, AKA, flaming!

Absolute PERFECTION! There was absolutely ZERO question, but he was conflicted. He, thank, God had no judgemental church issues. Nonetheless, at 16 years old, he talked to me and had questions.

Like some crazy ass redhead had answers, right?

Was he gay really? β€” If he wasn’t, he was for sure crazy!

His gay was PERFECTION to me!

I didn’t care one bit!

We had so much fun!πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ

We talked and talked and talked, 🎡 We listened to music. πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦° We did hair. πŸ’„We did makeup. πŸ›’We shopped. πŸ’ƒ We danced.🎭 Talked about theater.

But then there were the huge deep convos, like…

Figuring out your sexuality can be a confusing and challenging process, especially for high school students.

There is no one answer that fits everyone, but here are a few things that male high school students can do to explore their sexuality:

Think about your attractions as an option. β€”

Did he love me? πŸ’– Did I love him?πŸ’– Yes!!!πŸ’– 100%

We talked for hours and hours!

I did think of myself more like a friend. β€” Okay, he was kind of like a girlfriend in a dude's body. β€” Was I drawn to romantically and sexually? NOT ONE BIT!

I WAS NOT HOT FOR HIM.

I asked him, do you find yourself thinking about boys more than girls? Do you get butterflies in your stomach when you’re around a certain guy? These are all signs that you might be gay or bisexual.

His answer was that he was never attracted to a chick.

As his trusted friend, talking to someone you trust about your feelings can be a helpful way to get some perspective. I wanted to share my own 17-year-old BS experiences or offer advice.

I had at the time had sex with one dude. (I was 17.)

I was single so after some talking we decided, maybe to do some research.

There are many resources available in libraries that can help you learn more about sexuality.

Reading about the experiences of other gay and bisexual people can be validating and helpful.

But after careful contemplation, we decided to experiment.

If you’re not sure how you feel, experimenting can be a way to explore your sexuality. This doesn’t mean you have to have sex, of course, but we got brave trying things like kissing or holding hands.

Richard closed his eyes and said, β€œOMG, let’s just do it!”

So we did, He finished and said, ABSOLUTELY, I AM SO GAY!

He was FREE OF DOUBT 100%! Yes, Richard was gay

We laughed and hugged. β€” We would have high five, but it was not invented in the 70s!

This was before aids or anything. β€” ( β€’ )( β€’ )Τ…(β€ΎβŒ£β€ΎΤ…)

Of course, we used no condom! β€” If I had gotten pregnant, that would have been a real shit show! We were young and dumb.

Richard and I remained besties.

He got a boyfriend and I graduated. We lost touch sadly. I moved to Cali to become a movie star! I wish I could have taken Richard!

I did actually meet another gay Richard.

He was also a blast! I was promoting a TV show, and I bumped into him!

It was Richard Simmons. He is as fun in person as he is in his videos!

We started talking and ended up dancing. πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈAND YES RICHARD WAS WEARING THE WORKOUT OUTFIT!

Richard is now 75 years old. 🍬He is a super sweet guy!
