Microsoft is the elephant out there
I Got a New Keyboard for Medium
Typing on it is so smooth I fear touching it
After trying several keyboards I thought about who is the founder of computing in general.
Several names came to my mind. I typed Microsoft into Amazon. Sorted the search results by lower price to higher. I kind of went for the most basic model of the keyboard from Microsoft.

It cost me only 13 Euros as you can see my Amazon order page.
When it arrived it was a moment of happiness because the box, everything about it was so nostalgic and perfect.
For me, Microsoft has meaning. My first computer had a Windows from them, and so has my latest laptop after 20 years of use.
Some brands just become part of our lives.
The keyboard is white, and when you press a key it reminds you of the sweetest moments of your life. It reminds you that the best things in life are free. It reminds of how other keyboards suck with their harder keys.

The box actually looked like a piano. And on my way in the lift, I met three people who all asked by looking at it? OMG, What’s that? You know, for an affordable product in a simple box, I wasn’t even expecting such appreciation.
The box is not like an apple product smooth and shiny. It is the old cardboard box which tears off when you pull the seal on it to open. But the pleasure of long-lasting comfort is more than those few moments of unpacking a thousand dollar iPad and never using it again.
I smelt the keyboard and it smells of a newly constructed office whose grey carpets are washed by some sweet petrol and there are new grey foam pieces lying around from unpacking a dozen new chairs.

I don’t like wireless keyboards for the hassle of charging them, connecting them and they’re often too small for long fingers.
This keyboard is a beautiful colour of white. It costs less than my average breakfast and has the right buttons in the right places.
Lastly, every single corner is so smoothly curved.
This is the best 10 dollars I’ve spent in recent times!
