I Found Out My Second Love When I Was In School

It was not a person, but I love it wholeheartedly

The first time I am writing a story about myself. I mostly write poetry on Medium. However, this is the story that I want to share with all of my readers for a long time.

I love writing since I was a child. I used to write journals and poetry in my book. I never showed it to anyone because everyone wants me to study hard. I was a bright student since childhood. I used to get the first rank until high school.

I always tell that writing poetry is my first love. I love to play with words. When I play with words they usually rhyme and make me a beautiful piece of poetry.

Medium gave me a chance to improve my poetry. I met so many other poets and learn from them. So, after knowing this much about me you all wonder who is my second love?

I love to perform on stage.

Yes, you read it right. I love stage. When I was a child I used to participate in co-curricular activities. Since then I love to being on stage and performing my poetry.

When I was alone I used to practice that and recite my poetry in front of the mirror.

I know, I am an introvert. However, I don’t know but being on stage always fascinated me. When I am on stage, I feel like there is no one seeing me it’s just me performing my poetry in my fantasy world. It is a special feeling for me.

I have a dream of performing my poetry on a big platform. I know people give more importance to their first love. However, my second love is also most important to me.

I am right now trying to peach my poetry to some of India’s best performance platforms. I hope I will surely get selected soon.

I never had a chance to perform more other than my school events. In the future, I want to do more of it. I just don’t want to write poetry, I want to perform it full of heart.

Performing makes me realize my true happiness and potential. When I was young, I didn’t want to do it because of my nature. However, my class teacher motivated me to participate in our weekly assembly as an anchor. I refused her so many times, but she inspired me and tell me that perform like there is no one watching it’s just you performing your performance.

After that, I participated and give my best. From then onwards, I fall in love with the stage. I want to thank my class teacher for teaching me a great lesson.

Being on stage makes me feel alive in my imaginary world.

Some people think it’s scary to perform in front of thousands of people, however when you don’t have any stage fear you feel how magnificent it can be.

When you find out your true passion, you feel accomplished. To find passion, you need to try different things no matter you like it or not.

Show some courage and try everything you like or not. You will find your passion. You will find the work that you want to do for rest of your life.
