It was Saturday, April 25, 2015, 4:24 am West African time, I was on my way to the terminal to take the bus to the capital of the country, as soon as I took my seat on the bus, I decided to get online and my phone rings. It was my friend Adarsh. Filipe, Filipe, please pray for us, my family, my God, everything is destroying, he was completely scared, and a huge noise was heard on the sound of the phone, and I questioned what was happening, and he could not say what is happening, when I lost the signal.

I kept looking for what was happening, I tried calling back and the phone was out of order. My heart almost went out of my mouth, because at the time we were having terrorism problems all over the world, I was thinking the worst, that maybe they had been attacked by extremist caliphate lumps. I was left with nothing to think about at the time, I was just thinking what was happening to my friend?

As it was dawn, we started the trip and I lost the signal.

As soon as it was dawn and we were passing by a place with a telephone signal, I connected the internet and the first thing that was happening were the notifications from Euronews saying: last minute, Earthquake of magnitude 7.8 on the Richter scale has just devastated Nepal.

I started crying because my friend is probably dead.
