I Found Home

An etheree poem

Photo by Sarah Wolfe on Unsplash

Home I felt In his arms Safety within As he held me tight But then he let me go And I found home within me I cradled and held myself tight Tended my wounds, found steady footing Picked up my broken pieces and rebuilt.

Thank you to Melissa Coffey for the prompt invitation (below) to write an etheree poem; where each line grows in syllable count from 1–10.
