I Finished My First E-Book!
This is the first step to making money online.
I finished the project I set for myself!
I started this project really excitedly, but as time passed, I felt less and less thrilled about it. I had to fight my negativity through the process.
And this is perhaps the biggest lesson I’ve learned on this journey of making money online and creating a digital product.
Act despite how you feel.
One of the promises I made and kept reminding myself of was to finish this e-book no matter what. To not care if I didn’t think it was perfect.
Done is better than keeping a project in ‘working’ status forever because you’re not completely satisfied with the font style.
And so here we are. I have completed my e-journal and have downloaded it.
Now I’m looking at different websites and print-on-demand services to see which one fits best.
I wanted to write this to show those of you who are just staring, like me, that progress takes TIME.
I started working on this project in March and had given myself a deadline of April 30th. But alas, that didn’t happen due to some health obstacles I faced along the way.
See below.
Making money online can be very lucrative. That’s the reason why so many people try it.
But the truth is, very few people are able to make it.
Why? Because too many people believe in the myth of overnight success, and as soon as something bad happens or a challenge comes, they see it as a sign to quit.
I refuse to settle for the way I’m making money now. I work as a bartender, and although I am thankful for the job and the financial benefits it comes with, it is not the path I want to follow.
I’ve always wanted two things since I can remember. To be my own boss and to help others.
I believe writing, freelancing, and digital marketing will help me get there. But first, I have to give them all a try to see if these are the vehicles that are going to help me fulfill those dreams.
And so here we are, having finished one of the many projects I have set for myself.
You may be asking, when will the e-book be launched? To be honest, I don’t have an exact date yet.
As I said earlier, I’m looking at different websites and print-on-demand services to see which one fits best.
Once I have a few sites that I’m settled on, I will pick a date and let you all know.
In addition, if any of you guys who are new to the writing and freelancing world want to know how I got started or how I created my first e-book, please leave a comment.
I would be happy to share.
Thank you for reading if you made it to the end!
