I Felt Miserable Until This Happened…
A taste of freedom

I ranked 1st in my high school board.
But the year was an absolute mess.
I was exhausted, anxious, and most importantly sucked at time management.
Here are the 6 strategies I would use if I had to do it all again.
1/ Manage time effectively
In last 10 years, my time management techniques has been completely changed.
It transformed the way I look at time and use it.
The biggest realization from 20s to 30s is that time is a finite source and every minutes it’s getting reduced.
If you’re not intentional with your time you will default to wasting it on random things.
How to manage time effectively:
- Audit for a week and for a month to look at the things you spend most time.
- Prioritize your needs to work on immediate and long terms goal.
- Say No to non-essentials things.

2/ Learn and unlearning
The sad fact is, we were never taught how to learn and relearn new stud quickly.
I know how much dread was in school and college to learn chapters and various subjects.
What we all taught was to memorize stuff and wing it when it comes to exams and assignments.
But the living a wholesome life evolves around how quickly you can learn new stuff and unlearn out dated stuff.
How you can learn effectively is:
- Read books just not read but to understand deeply
- Identify ways to apply in your day to day to see what works
- Explore different genre, mode of learning- like audio, videos, graphics, or anything that you find interesting.

3/ Join groups, societies, clubs
To enjoy every part of your life, join local groups, clubs society based on your interests to learn on life and career experiences.
It will help you get ahead, and also add color, vibes, and that magic sparkle of enjoyment to your life as well.
How can you start:
- Search online on groups available near to you.
- Browse social media groups to see what make sense.
- Ask for recommendations from friends, colleagues, family members.
4/ Learn transferable skills
This is not only good for work life but in all aspects of life. It can help you understand the endless possibilities you can have.
You can start with:
- Writing
- Public Speaking
- Graphic design
- Creating presentations

5/ Experiment with side hustles and hobbies
If you are a early 20s, the life pressure is less.
We are not used to think this way.
But the truth is health at its highest, less family responsibilities, and work is also not super critical.
The stakes are pretty low at that stage of your life too, so take as many as chances and risks you can.
Use this time to build new skills, work on your strengths, and explore hobbies.
It will help you put ahead of people in your 30s and 40s.
You can start with:
- Entrepreneurship
- Starting a blog, podcast, or a channel
- Offering free services in a form of digital products, e-books, a guide etc.
6/ Surround yourself with people you want to become like
Be intentional about the company you keep
If you are a round with energy drainer, people who makes you self-doubt, and let you indulge in bad habits, the high chances are you will become same.
By surrounding yourself with individuals who possess qualities, skills, and values that you admire, you increase the likelihood of personal growth and development.
Observing and interacting with such individuals can provide inspiration, motivation, and opportunities for learning.
Their experiences and wisdom can help you navigate challenges and make better decisions.
Summary,
Personal growth is an individual journey.
While surrounding yourself with positive influences can be beneficial, it’s also important to maintain your unique identity and authenticity.
Strive for genuine connections with people who inspire you, challenge you, and support your personal growth, but also ensure that your choices align with your own values, aspirations, and goals.
