I Don’t Want to Work With Clients (Here’s Why)
Can you relate?

I get DMs in my Twitter/X inbox all the time like this:

And this:

Every time I see the word “client”, I shrivel up inside.
I didn’t leave my job to work for someone else. I am a freedom-seeking being and I like to do what I want, when I want. I can no longer be bound by someone else’s deadlines or rules.
I used to work in email marketing, and one of our accounts was GNC.

I had a client I talked with daily. She was unnecessarily tough, and it sucked the life right out of me.
Instead, now I:
- write on Medium
- create my own products
- send out a daily email (with promos)
Maybe I’m not raking it in like the big bros, but I am making fun money for my family. More importantly, I am free and happy!
