I Don’t Want to Be Like Elon Musk

Especially if he has green hair

Why did Elon Musk dye his hair green?

That was the question I asked in my dream. Elon was speaking with my husband, both of them eagerly asking questions and learning from each other.

People kept coming up to Elon and asking him questions. He was very gracious at the incessant interruptions. He also spoke in quick bursts, leading me to think, “That’s how he does so much! He lives faster than normal!”

By the end of the dream, I knew I did not want to model my success on Elon Musk. I wanted a slower-paced life, where I had the uninterrupted peace to focus on things.

Knowing what you don’t want is as important as knowing what you do want. Our dreams can show us the way, if we listen.
