I Don’t Care Who You Are, We all Slump
A universal journey

I’m currently writing this while I’m in a major funk, feeling “blah,” unmotivated, and uninspired — not in the mood, honestly. But I’m also proud of myself for showing up and letting my thoughts flow onto my pages because it’s what I love to do, and it’s something no one can take away from me.
Not even the lack of sleep I’m currently experiencing due to my toddler’s sleep regression.
That’s okay, I got this.
Gravity or our mood wins some days, and we find ourselves slumped over with it all.
The secret to getting upright is self-awareness, noticing the slump.
To be in a better relationship with gravity, with our mood and mind, I feel like it’s best to just go with the flow, let things be, and shed negativity and unproductive elements.
It’s about shaking off bad energy, being still with yourself, radiating light, and clearing away any nonsense to lighten the mood. Staying mindful of what was and what is, staying present because life is too short.
Getting over the slump is about daring yourself to be uniquely you.
There are ways to soar free from the tree in your life, your art, and your relationships by strongly desiring change, setting boundaries, and establishing short-term and long-term goals.
Just go for it, whatever that may be, at your own pace.
As the the Chinese proverbs goes,
“A journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step.”
I resonate with the saying “let go and let God” because I trust that whatever I set my mind to, I will achieve it if I trust in the universe and my faith.
I know that from my experience, when I get over a slump, I claim my desires, hold great visions of where I’m heading, and prepare myself as I take the next step forward. I hold my head up high and receive everything that is waiting for me.
Everybody goes through this, and the big secret is… difficulty is okay, just start over. Try again.
