When I step away I get clarity Your actions are a rarity Didn’t know your mind was in such jeopardy You always made everything appear perfectly But that’s what you were always good at Lying to me

Now I see the dark side The lies behind your purple eyes The anger that sits between your thighs

You’re not you You never were You’re someone else Someone whose sick And needs help

You should have let me in Instead, you chose to give in to them: your demon Now you’ll waste away Somewhere far away Headed off down the road Only God can save you; the only one that really knows
