Summarize

I didn’t ask you to come again, pain…

Yesterday, when I was about to go to bed, but not feeling ready, I happened to find Medium, surfed around the pages, and read some articles. And? I’ve so much regretted that I hadn’t known about this amazing platform! There are so many interesting and easy-to-read articles and I think those intriguing articles make the best materials for learns of English.

Anyway, let me try to write an entry by myself… (I’m such a newbie, in case you find anything unsuitable or like violating the copyright, would you please let me know.)

What is pain? That’s a mystery I’ve been asking myself since I experienced acute pain in my early twenties. After that first excruciating pain, I suffered severe pain several times in my lower back, both left and right sides. Before I knew it, I started to change the way of using my body and always moved a bit slowly and cautiously. Regular daily movements like carrying a slightly heavy bag or picking up a thing on the floor became a task that I had to perform with extra care. That’s unusual, right? But memories of strong repetitive pain could change you physically and mentally.

Now, how do you think I’m doing? Fortunately, I rarely feel pain neither in my lower back or other parts such as the knees. I no longer become hesitant to sit long or walk for long hours thinking I might have some pain later. I’m much more active and fearless than before.

From these experiences, I conclude that not only physical but also mental health has a lot to do with chronic pain, especially lower back pain. Sadly, People don’t have enough chance to learn the appropriate treatment. I hope many people will find the right approach easily with the new findings.
