I Created My First Journal (and it’s FREE!)
Substance and quality are key.

The other day I rushed to download a FREE guide. You know the ones that say, “This normally costs $1,000.00, but today I am giving it away for FREE. FREE for the next 48 hours.”.
I complete all the necessary steps before downloading the product. I open it and it was not what I expected. Big promises, no substance, and no quality. I realized it was just a marketing scheme to get followers and email addresses.
Wait, calm down. Not all FREE stuff is garbage. I have seen some nice quality work. I applaud those who at least put some substance into it and make a quality product for FREE.
Yes, times are changing. The definition of a startup doesn’t mean what it used to. I can run a startup out of my home and make huge revenues. In fact, I could run it outside, in a garage, at the beach, or anywhere else that has a Wi-Fi connection.
The main issues are substance and quality. Everybody is selling anything and everything. And a lot of it is online.
If you want to build something or create something, please provide substance and quality. It doesn’t matter what kind of product you’re selling. Your customers are looking for substance and quality. Too many people are trying to get rich quick and not taking the development time necessary to provide the best for your potential customers.

Once you have the substance and quality, it’s time to let the world see your product. One of the surest ways to build trust with your customers is to let them experience it for FREE.
You build customer trust by giving something away. This gives your future customers a chance to experience something you created for FREE.
Don’t resort to cheap tricks and gimmicks. They work for a while, but then fizzle out.
Let your customers try your product for FREE. When they see your work, they can review your content and decide if your product is for them. If they like it, you have earned a new customer. If they don’t, they have a FREE item.
No matter what you do, aim for excellence. Both in your content and your product. Customers who buy from you again are precious. They will return for more.
I am happy to announce that I created and published my first low-content book. It’s a writing journal.
It took energy, focus, and dedicated time. Creating a quality, low-content journal is not that easy. Sure, it has low content, but that doesn’t mean “no content”.
Even though it’s low content, it still takes a lot of time. There is a lot of formatting that needs to be done. Finding and selecting images, choosing the right colors, formatting, etc.
If I can do it, so can you. For any product or business you want to create, be able to give a sample to your potential customers to build a strong relationship in the future.
