I Created a Halloween Themed Coloring Book Using AI 👻✨

Let me tell you how I did it.

So yeah, I created a Halloween themed coloring book using AI, y ’all (I’m country, I know) and it was easy!

I’m not sure if it was because I love all things AI and I’m a kid at heart and love to color, or if it really is just an easy process.

I’ll let you be the judge of that.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate and every year, as a consumer, I spend hundreds of dollars.

I purchase costumes for my kids and I, decorations for the inside and outside of my house, coloring books, activity books, paint sets…you name it.

Anything that basically has a pumpkin on it!

And I know I’m not the only one. It doesn’t even matter that I have these things already from the previous year, I STILL BUY MORE. It’s the “shiny object” syndrome.

Can any of you relate?

So this year, instead of spending loads of cash. I’m figuring out ways to make loads of it. Which brings me to the topic of this article.

Book Bolt is my new bff

Whenever I hear someone mention Book Bolt, only two words come to mind.

Say less.

For those who don’t know, Book Bolt is a user-friendly software designed with beginners in mind. So it’s the ideal choice for me and others who are looking to get into the low and no-content publishing.

The first thing I did was take to Book Bolt for their keyword research function.

When I typed in Halloween coloring book, it provided an extensive list of keywords that I can use to enter into KDP on the back end, when setting up my book.

I then take these keywords and plug them into Amazon to see the results.

I then scroll right past the sponsored results and take a deep dive into the first listing I see and check out the product details.

I read a lot of blogs that tell you to download some type of chrome extension to be able to view product details, but NOPE. You don’t need a chrome extension to do so.

The product info details is listed right underneath the description. Just hit “see all details” to access the information that you need.

And that info is the BSR, or the Best Sellers Rank. Anything under 200,000 means the book is selling. This particular book is selling very well to have such a low BSR.

According to this BSR calculator, this book is making 575 sales per month! That’s 38 sales a day!

So let’s say that this person is making $2 per sale in royalties, you do the math! That’s over $1,000 a month just on 1 coloring book that anyone is capable of doing.

Ain’t that just freaking amazing?

Study Your Opponent

Ok, so now I have made this person my opp, unbeknownst to them.🤣

I ask myself the following questions…

What did they do to make it on the first page of Amazon?

When did they first publish on Amazon KDP?

How can I make a better version of this coloring book?

It’s the what’s, when’s, and how's that takes us further in life that we could ever imagine.

Question everything.

After I’ve come up with suitable answers for myself, I then do the last step in the process.

Upload to Amazon KDP, wait on that you are live email, and anxiously check my emails every 15 minutes to see if I’ve gotten a sale. (kidding but not kidding)
