I Come to You
A poem

I come to you with the soft warm rays of the first rising sun as though your open sky is carrying my light for the very first time.
I come to you as the soft gentle breath of the earth’s first spring as though your calm breeze is blowing through my petals for the very first time.
I come to you as the first butterfly of the cocoon awakened from deep sleep as though your voice summons me carrying my wings upon your air for the very first time.
I come to you as the first migrating dove soaring through the calm blue as though your heaven is lifting my opened wings for the very first time.
I come to you as the first ripened cherry placed upon your warm lips as though you’re touching my fruit and tasting my sweetness for the very first time.
I come to you as the first raging wave of the world’s deepest sea as though your powerful wind is blowing through my shore for the very first time.
I come to you as the streaming lamp of the moon of the first clear night as though your starlit dusk is holding my light for the very first time.
I come to you.
