I choose to accept who I am while learning and being open-minded about how I can grow.

I choose to engage and connect with my community, loved ones while making balance for precious moments of solitude.

I choose to build towards mastery and skill with purpose and achievement while making time and space for leisure and creativity.

For this piece, I wanted to reflect the essence of what I really learned in my late-twenties — that life is often this balancing act of nuanced extremes, and that’s why it’s so hard. But when the balancing act works and we choose to acknowledge the gray, the ambiguous, the nuance, the magic happens. It’s worth it. I swear.
