I Can’t Wait to Leave.

Poetry.

The big beautiful home didn’t make me happy after all.

I can’t wait to leave. It’s all become so old to me.

I’m never content. I constantly seek the next thing.

I’m depressed in the sun; Yet, happy in the rain.

I can’t stand the cold, But that’s when I feel most sane.

I can’t wait to leave.

Destiny S. Harris.
