I Can't Continue
Say it, it Works Two Ways
I can’t continue That is all he said to me A year, am still stagnant I can’t continue Was all that I believed in It’s ages, am still hurt I can’t continue I told my grieving heart An instant, am healed I can’t continue I told the son-of-a-bitch! And now, I am free Dear Reader, Sometimes the phrase “I can’t continue” can be a negative push, demotivating and demoralising depending on one’s state when it’s said. However, it can also be positive depending on the timing and frame of mind. For instance, I can’t continue being a good person, that sounds negative but might be needed if one’s goodness is being taken advantage of or for fair change to take place. The process after saying it might be bleak and take long but is a necessary sacrifice to reach a higher point and peace. But I can’t continue to keep silent about the abuse is clearly positive and is a wake-up call. It all just depends on the timing! So don’t be afraid ever to say it out when the need arises!
