I Can Hop on This Flying Device Called Flying-Bohr
They enjoyed chatting at Sorimachi’s house
Previously, they woke up early in the morning and enjoyed the sunlight. Shakutori helped Robo check and paint her car while the rest of the three enjoyed their morning skateboarding. On the way to Sorimachi’s house, they stopped by places they had never been to, including a studio, where they borrowed Halloween costumes and had some photos taken. Sorimachi took his usual route to come back home. But this time, he got excited and happy while on the ship. He enjoyed his travel on the sea and arrived way before everyone arrived at the door of his house.
“I’m coming!” Sorimachi smiled and said to everyone through the round monitor.
He stepped on his new flying squared device, flew to the door, and opened the door.
Everyone opened their eyes wide, “Hi, Sorimachi.” Everyone was surprised to see him flying up high. He flew down and hugged everyone.
“Leo, this flower makes you very adorable.” Sorimachi chuckled.
The studio owner clicked with Leo right away. They had fun sharing their experiences, and the owner gave Leo a flower headwear.
As they walked in, Fish said to Sorimachi, “That is so cool. I learned how to skateboard today. It required my courage to make the skateboard go and go faster. You know, I was so afraid in the beginning and thought I would fall and hurt myself. I only slipped several times and did not fall hard or trip over anything. Buddy and Leo taught me some pretty cool tricks.”
“I know. I wanted to try skateboarding before. But now, you see, I don’t need to,” he patted the flying device proudly.
“Buddy and Leo are very fun to hang out with. I used to be very slow to get from one place to another. I didn’t mind. I love and enjoy my slow walk. But after I found this and started using it, I can’t stop using it. With this fancy square board, I can get anywhere around me in a flick of a second. You see, you guys would have to wait outside for at least 15 minutes if I did not have it.” Sorimachi smiled.
Robo showed Sorimachi her arm screen, and Sorimachi nodded, “That’s very cool, Fish. Oh, and you came down the hill with just two wheels. Awesome! I wouldn’t dare to do that on my first day.”
Fish smiled and moved its head upward and side to side, “Smells so good, Sorimachi!”
Buddy was wagging its tail, “Yeah, Fish was a fast learner. From what I and Leo showed using one of those steep stairs around the lodge. Fish got it right away. That was so much fun! And I think your flying square board is super cool. We thought you would take a little more time to get to the door like before. But with that, you can get anywhere in a few seconds like Robo.”
Sorimachi looked at Buddy, “I know, I used to be so slow,” then looked up, and talked to Fish, “That’s how I got my name, Taking So Much Time, So Much Time on This and That, So much… so much…, and it became Sorimachi. But I love this name. Besides, it sounds like the wracking good-looking actor.”
He continued, “I loved my slow exercise, walking here and there. But you know, I can do my exercises once or twice a day, and I can hop on this flying device called Flying-Bohr for the rest of the day, getting the door, walking with you guys to the kitchen at the same speed. I’m flying though. Hahahaha. It has been super useful and energy efficient. It is similar to the Robo’s, but hers is way better than this one. For now, I won’t fly as high as Robo. But I have used it on my sofa. I can let the sofa fly and run my cleaning device. I was doing it before you guys arrived. Cleaning the living room floor has become so easy.”
“Oh, I would love to have Flying-Bohr, even though I can slide anywhere with my cool movements,” Shakutori said from Robo’s pocket.
“Shaku, I can order one for you. But you have to wait for a while since these are getting famous now, and the company is updating them from the design, the color variation, to the functionality.”
“That sounds great, Shakutori,” Robo looked at Shakutori.
Shakutori looked up and side to Sorimachi. “Please, Sochi, order one for me. My tiny car stopped once at the beach yesterday.”
“OK, I will order one for you. Anyone else wants one?” Sorimachi asked.
The rest of the three raised their hands.
“Hohoho, I’ll get you Flying-Bohr then. Hopefully, they will arrive before Christmas or at least before mid-January. I hope they won’t take that long though.”
Everyone smiled.
“THANK YOU!!”
Everyone followed the smell, walked into the kitchen, and grabbed the food Sorimachi cooked. They ate some of those in the kitchen while talking and brought some to the living room.
As they entered the living room, they saw the flying sofas.
“Can we sit on the flying sofa?” Fish asked.
“Sure! You guys aren’t that heavy. Go ahead. I’ll lower them a bit so you can jump on it.” Sorimachi lowered them by pushing a few buttons on his Flying-Bohr. They helped Sorimachi put back some stuff and sat around the fireplace in the living room.
Sorimach sat on the sofa and started taking their orders, choosing the design of Flying-Bohr: color, size, functions, and other options.
Their subject changed to the mission of Leo.
“Do you need to find the rest of the potion or the one who had it, or both?” Sorimachi asked Leo.
“If I can find out both, that will be great. I can’t say the number of potions, which is our top secret, and I should collect them all if the one still possesses some of those. It cannot fall into the hands of bad and crazy groups; otherwise, it will make the world close to AKUUSU.”
“What is AKUUSU?”
Fish asked.
“Um, you can think of it as a synonym for BAD,” Leo said.
“There are bad guys, and no one wants to join them if everyone knows their intention in the first place, so they capture others and even experiment on those. They are Bad and Crazy Guys. Bad guys have their ranks. Higher ones text to those lower ones all the time, and they GPS them all the time, so they can’t get out of the bad circle and cycle. Getting paid becomes the motivation for those in the lower ranks and the definite reason they stick with it. Some of them know their big boss’s mind has gone crazier because he had made a contract or something with a bad one from another planet — his mind has been eaten. It seems he has other faces working at normal organizations, where he affects others and recruits bad ones from other planets to grow his group. He calls it Team, and sometimes Family to disguise his bad intentions.” Leo said and stuck out his tongue.
“That sounds like he has multiple bad personalities,” Buddy said.
“Oh, Buddy, you are now so intelligent.” Sorimachi looked at Buddy and nodded.
“Yap, my far friend’s boss was like that. His brain was affected. He then went to do crazy things, you know, not crazy good, but crazy bad over and over, until a good one from a different planet somehow cured him. The big bad guy of AKUUSU should have been caught right away and treated or locked up.” Shakutori shook his head and continued, “Some hospitals and schools are affected also. He ordered others to do immoral things like making new male nurses give us a shot to have STINGS on our skins. You see, that’s so wrong! I got half of it, vaccination. I felt something very wrong in my body, and I flipped the nurse’s hand and told others, my friends and even other nurses onsite, about the odd feeling and the painful shot. I did not grow any sting on my skin, but blood was oozing from a few pores close to my left armpit after that. If I got all of those vaccinations, I would become something else. I wouldn’t be Shakutori anymore. I would become something like a stinging caterpillar. I’m still furious about that.”
“That is unforgivable!” Robo got upset. “A few really bad AKUUSU nurses, interns, and doctors also affected my sister’s life and my friends’. I heard a few of them got punished by nature and some had to face mysterious events, you know. Leo, you just need to find some clues to prevent this world from falling into those bad guys’ hands. I hope some people become courageous and leave their organizations. The best way of ending it is, hopefully, there is some bloodless coup d'état within the AKUUSU.”
“I need to retrieve those, and if I find out who used it for what kind of purpose and how it is related to AKUUSU, I should be able to stop it,” Leo said and drank off the pumpkin corn soup.
Sorimachi looked at Leo and said, “I see. I will try to find who is Fish’s soul mate or dear friend tomorrow, and you may have a better idea of how to tackle your mission then.”
Leo nodded and went to the kitchen to get his soup cup refilled.
They were silent for about 10 seconds.
Leo returned from the kitchen with the cup filled with spinach and scone flakes floating on it, and he got a big mozzarella cheese in his mouth.
Robo smiled and changed her position, moved the cushions, sat comfortably, and told Sorimachi, “So we will probably join Leo if Fish’s dear friend is not near us or not easy to find right away.”
“I see, I see. Anyhow, enjoy your time being here. I’m so glad to meet you, Fish, and everyone again.” Sorimachi raised his cup high.
Everyone raised their cups high, too.
“Thanks, Sorimachi!”
“Cheers!”
“Cheers!”
