I Breathe in Death to Live
A poem about our never ending voyage of the soul growing within human emotion.

A rhythmic beat calms this troubled soul.
Ocean waves crest and vanish upon my shore.
Echoing scales pitch continues another crash of liquid skin.
Wind sound whipping me hijacks my spirits sadness and sin.
Infinite sight I gaze numb along a life wished done.
Waves stretching back time,
I breathe in what once was mine.
Saltwater mist purifies my chest.
Darkness crests again toward angelic bliss.
Life crashes singing fulfillment past.
I close my eyes.
This dream won’t last.
Listen journeys death upon my shore.
Witnessing one day to break upon someone's door.
May my life sing outward of things I cherished to learn.
They hear my wave crest and tumble.
Then reaching out to embrace their sand dusted feet.
Transversing Heaven again we shall meet.
My humble voyage ends in trials lessons fate.
My memories of you fade.
Give to me our future mistake.
A sun drenched beach warms these old eyes.
Rain beckoned back toward endless skies.
Connections pure in Heaven we mix.
Storming Earth we fall in an ocean lost.
A wave crests in sight to crash.
I witness death in burials past.
We live as our wave ascends.
Then crash upon our shore again.
