2. Use tags smartly
This is where novice writers make a mistake. Just like keywords in SEO, on Medium, it’s all about using the right tags.
If you pick the correct tags, your article will definitely become viral.

Share tragic, funny, inspiring, and cringe-worthy stories. When you tell stories, people can relate to them. And that’s when you actually start succeeding.
Pick stories from people around you, or take incidents from your life and turn them into meaningful stories.
Put emotions in those stories, and people will easily relate those stories.
4. Use smart headlines and subtitles
Lastly, and the most crucial part of earning more, is to choose headlines wisely. Don’t just settle for one headline. Write 8–10 headlines and pick the one that moves you emotionally.
Moreover, the subtitle is important too. When you write the subtitle, make it a continuation of the title. Reveal part of what you will be discussing to what the reader will gain after reading the article. That’s it.
