Abstract

The website presents a poetic expression titled "I Am My Own Enemy," which delves into the theme of self-inflicted emotional turmoil. The author describes an internal battle characterized by negative thoughts and a resulting lack of calm, likening the chaos to an unseen storm. Despite the introspective and somewhat somber tone, the piece concludes with a thank you to readers and a gentle nudge towards other works by the author, suggesting a journey through various contemplative and spiritual narratives, as indicated by the titles "The cycle of life," "The moon mystifies me," and "In meditation." These additional stories are accompanied by evocative images that hint at a broader exploration of nature, spirituality, and the human condition.

Opinions

  • The author acknowledges personal negativity as a haunting presence, implying that self-doubt or critical self-assessment can be as distressing as external ghosts or fears.
  • There is a sense of isolation in the struggle, as the author indicates that the internal chaos is invisible and, therefore, not easily understood or alleviated by others.
  • The imagery used in the poetry and the accompanying visuals suggest a connection between the author's inner world and the natural environment, perhaps implying that nature serves as a mirror or a source of solace for the author's reflections.
  • The inclusion of links to other stories implies a shared thematic thread, inviting readers to engage with a collection of works that collectively offer insights into the author's perspective on life, nature, and spirituality.

I fear no ghosts For my negativity haunts me The wild thoughts racing fast Scarring my emotions Causing a mental war inside me Making me restless like a river

I can’t keep calm I can’t stay calm Chaos inside causing a storm outside That none can see And none can help For the invisible fear Survives only in the mind.
