I Am More Than A Body
It’s only a coat

It’s only a Coat !! It’s only a Coat !! Traits and Features lovingly bestowed by God Through a beautiful mother and a handsome father
Just a Coat! Just a Coat! Eyes the color of the sea Inviting you to be lost in their liquid depths
A Coat, A Coat I say! A chiseled nose Set in the center of an oval face Their contour and slope – A sculptor’s dream
A Coat, A Coat, Nothing more! A mouth shaped to perfection Plump and lush with youthful color To trace their softness – A lover’s dream
Only a Coat! Only a Coat! That chin, The high cheekbones The character and defiance of a beautiful face Like chiseled granite – The carver’s delight
Only but a Coat! Only but a Coat! A long neck tapering to sloping shoulders The magnificence of an Egyptian princess bronzed by the noonday sun The painter’s canvas striving for your attention
A Coat! A Coat! It’s only a Coat! Those breasts rising and falling with each taken breath Standing haughtily, daringly For the braveheart – the triumphant who will lay his head on their plump softness
A Coat is what it is. Only a Coat! Those hips – protectors of delicate treasurers Like the watchmen on the city walls Only the honorable and valiant take the city
A Coat! A Coat! A Coat! Those legs – beautiful and shapely in form Striding on majestically no matter who stares The stallion cannot compare
I said it before. I say it again It’s only a Coat. Only a Coat A Coat of skin clothing protecting the person within
For behind those beautiful eyes is a haunting sadness waiting to be soothed Behind those breasts is a burdened heart yearning for release Behind the slender nose and high cheekbones is one crying for affirmation Behind the proud neck and sloping shoulders is a seeker for the honorable one to bear her secrets Behind the purposeful stride and haughty gaze is a fear, a wariness of commitment, a loneliness – the result of scars from unworthy parties Behind the proud chin, the insecurities of loving again, giving again, hoping again
You see my friend, It’s only a Coat
