I am the older Sister of Mick Jagger

You might wonder why I am writing in here as the older sister of Mick Jagger.

Canvased by author.

Yes, my life is overshadowed by my younger brother Mick. I can not complain, he is very likely the biggest Rock’n Roll singer the world has ever seen. Who can compete?

It is not easy to be the older sister of a superstar like him. He is a nice guy though. Chris, Mick and I, we still meet and once in a while have dinner together. Chris is the youngest of us. We cherish each other and Mick would sing ‘Baby Baby you’re out of taaaeem’.

I know he likes to tease me because of my age.

In our younger days, I was the boss, I had to take care of these two rockers. They never stood still. Both had talent.

Who the heck could anticipate, that my brother Mick keeps on rockin’ in the biggest stadiums on the planet and does it for seventy years and still moves like an eighteen-year-old to the very beats of his own Mick’n Roll music.

I was proud when he performed at the White House. Mesmerizing to watch the video, how President Obama and his wife enjoyed him singing and to see how they clapped politely to his never aging moves.

Only once I got shy when Mick and his long-term Rock’n Roll mates, Charly, Keith and Ronnie damaged the entire floor of their hotel in Frankfurt in Germany. This was not necessary. My neighbors do not talk to me anymore since that time.

I have to confess, I do not want to be seen next to Mick. Mick still appears so vibrant and young, despite his thousand wrinkles. He is close to eighty, and I do not want to be mistaken for his grandmother.

I am the aunt of many. Mick’s reproductive energy never stopped. No matter whether he was twenty or seventy-eight, his wives were always as young and sexy as he could get them. All of them have been ‘Angies’ without exception.

He is refusing to play grandfather. Why should he? His concerts are still filled with teenagers till today.

Timeless guy. Timeless music. Will they one day talk about my brother as how they talk about Beethoven today.

Beethoven did not have an older sister. Mick has me.

His 2021 concert in St. Louis was fully booked again, I couldn’t go and watch, at my age I was sleeping already at that time of the day.

I am still watching the videos of his concerts. Needless to say, I am proud of my little brother. Not only Mick, Chris as well.

My favorite song is “Honky Tonk Woman”. I love that song. Mick’s songs will never get out of fashion.

Just got to know, he did not tell me, he went to Europe on Tour again. Can’t believe it, San Siro in Italy was bursting. Nice to see them remembering Charly with a video before they start their show.

Just a pity, all this fame could have been for me. But Mick made it instead.

I am not jealous, I am just his older sister.

Confession:

Sorry Mick, no clue why this story came to me and out of my mind. I am not your older sister. I am just one of the millions of admirers of you and your Mick’n Roll music.

The Stones through history.
