I Am Back And Better Than Ever
I had to take a hiatus from writing for a bit but I am back with a vengeance.
I had to take a break from here. I have been focusing on getting my speaking career going and doing a lot of work on the podcast. We are 9 episodes in as of the writing of this. I miss writing and probably have a lot to say so let’s just get to it, shall we?
Shaping Minds & Spreading Hope
I have recently branched off in my career path to go into High Schools and Middle Schools to teach Drug & Alcohol Prevention & Awareness. I never thought in a million years that I would be talking to kids in schools about the dangers of doing drugs.
I have felt a really strong calling to do this since I met a friend of mine last year who does this for a living. It is an incredible sense of fulfillment when they ask questions or are engaged. The teachers and the students are both very attentive and interactive.
One teacher at the end of one presentation had his class circle up and asked them how they were feeling after such a heavy and potentially triggering talk. It really gave me a sense of pride in me for how far I have come in my life.
It is a humbling experience to watch and see the interactions on their faces and in their questions. It is also very emotionally draining, the build-up and then for it to just be done, but worth every second.
There is a link to the presentation. I co-presented with a friend of mine who works at a local Marijuana Dispensary and came to educate them about the legal ramifications of underage smoking and the known health risks.

I have also been a guest on several other podcasts, which is always a very humbling experience.
What Else Has Been Going On?
Life in general has been pretty great the past couple of months, my Queen is following her dreams, I am actively seeking an agent to help me pitch my new book idea, and we are getting ready to break ground on our homestead.
I guess all I can say is that my life is just as spectacular as I have manifested it. I am the Mater of my Fate now, I steer my own ship. I no longer let life's uncertainty ambush me or throw me off my Game.
Mike Tyson once said,
“Everyone has a plan ’til they get punched in the mouth”
