I Am All You Will Ever Need

Poetry

If I was the crescent moon, Spreading my lips apart, My laughter would light your night, A beacon in your time of fright.

My sweet, If I was a knight, Of chivalry and might, I will be the pillar you rest upon, Fulfilling your every need.

Like the wind, A pleasant gentle breeze, My presence will cool your heart, An undying bond – it is a promise, That we will never part.

If I was the moon, I would spread my light across the night, Guiding you through the darkness, A constant source of hope and might.

My laughter would fill the air, As a soothing balm for your soul, A reminder that happiness is near, And the worries can take their toll.

If I was a knight, I would stand by your side with pride, A shield against the world’s fight, And a sword to keep you by my side.

My chivalry would be my guide, As I pledged my heart to you, A bond of love that won’t subside, A promise that will always be true.

And if I was the wind, I’d whisper soft words in your ear, A gentle breeze to ease your mind, And keep you close and near.

With each gentle gust that blows, I’ll remind you of my love, A promise that forever flows, On the wings of the wind above.

For I am here to be your light, Your strength and your source of peace, A promise that through day and night, My love for you will never cease.

’Alas, I am but a dream, A phantom you have never seen, Unknown to your memory, Yet I am all you will ever need.

Thank you all for reading. Hope it’s not too late for a Valentine’s Day poem.
