I Am A Single Father Of Two Boys With Autism And One Wants To Go Disney World

Dad! In 2025. I am done with high school I want to Disney World! This is what my oldest son Matthew declares to me as that he wants to go on vacation after he completes high school and goes on summer vacation.
Yes! My son wants to go to the most magical place on Earth. That is what we are told. From when we are little kids to adults this concepts is engrained within us.
Granted not every high school teenager wants to go Disney World, however Matthew is autistic and has other cognitive challenges.
What to do?
As the title of this article states, I am a single father of two boys with autism and one wants to go to Disney World. Being a full-time single parent means that I am somewhat limited on my budget, and a trip like this would not be easy to do.
The other challenge is that Matthew doesn’t understand money concepts in this context.
Do I try my hardest and provide what he wants, or try to explain to him in a way he might understand that a Disney Vacation might be out of reach?
Maybe I will make a few million dollars from my writings, and then the problem is solved. I could only wish and dream.
I did a little work today, as I went to the Disney website and crunch some numbers. This is for three adults which would include myself, his grandmother his brother and himself. The figures are in the image.

That is right! $5,160.26 and that is for four theme parks, a standard room in a value resort, and the cheapest meal plan. Granted this for a family of four which comes to roughly $1,300 per person which considering isn’t too bad, but with inflation and other factors that are in my life it can be a bit of challenge.
Time to get to writing, see what my words can do and save some money.
