Summarize

I am a Citizen of Sierra Leone. Now What?

So last month, I officially become a citizen of Sierra Leone! After typing numerous articles detailing my journey from self-discovery in the year of The Panther (2018)…

…to visiting my Ancestral home during the Year of Return (2019) in Nigeria..

…to proposing to my Yoruba Queen (no public photos/videos for privacy reasons) during the Year of COVID (2020) & Skydiving in Dubai for the first time in my life…

…to visiting Sierra Leone & officially becoming a citizen of an African country in the Year of Africanization (2021) which I had been discussing for over a year.

So, now that I am a citizen of Sierra Leone, now what‽

Well, now begins the hard part — which sounds crazy saying as Jesus had to overcome a lot of obstacles (financial, logistical, spiritual, emotional) for me to even experience all of these blessings which were denied to many of my ancestors & late father (he died months before discovering we are related to Yoruba).

While Sierra Leone weather & land wise is a paradise, that paradise is under attack by greedy corporations attempting to exploit the people & land as well as geopolitical forces who are intentionally apathetic towards Africans in general.

My next goals are to establish businesses on the continent in Nigeria, Sierra Leone & Liberia (the latter which I have yet to visit). God willing if I am successful I will move on towards helping out Namibia & Congo.

Hopefully I am up to the challenge as it will not be easy attempting to change the trajectory of 5 countries compromising 300 million people, but I wager in the long run it will be worth. Stay tuned!
