I Almost Had Writer’s Block

Until I remembered there’s no such thing…

It’s been about 10 days since I’ve created any new articles or columns.

Not that long a time for most folks. But I usually create and publish something every day.

I’ve been focused on building some new things into my online business and had just not gotten around to creating any written content.

Feeling kinda stuck

So when I sat down here this morning to create some new content, I was feeling more than a bit stuck. No new ideas popping up.

Uh oh.

Is this what they call “writer’s block?”

Started getting a little concerned.

Then I remembered I’m the guy who says there’s no such thing as writer’s block.

Uh oh, again.

But then…

But then I began to think about all the ways I could create and post some more content. Here are a few of those ideas:

  • Grab an old article from Ezine Articles or LinkedIn Publishing, update it as needed, rework a bit, and post it.
  • Open up my own Profitable Content Creation Templates and create something.
  • Grab the Custom Content Wizard and create something.
  • Transcribe any one of the number of webinars I’ve done recently and post it.
  • Switch on Zoom, StreamYard, or Facebook Live and deliver 3 tips on a particular subject. Have it transcribed. Create and publish an article.
  • Create a new content creation template and use that one to create some content.

But then… Part 2

But then I thought:

“I could simply create some content about the struggle to come up with an idea!”

So that’s what I’ve done here. I hope you find it helpful.

I still don’t believe in writer’s block

I still don’t believe in writer’s block.

Have you ever had eating block?

Watching TV block?

Etc?

The reason I really and truly do not believe in writer’s block is there are just so many ideas out there. I’ve got hundreds tucked away inside my phone. That little recording app and I have a great relationship, although the conversation is a bit one sided.

So here’s your Bonus Tip:

Capture the ideas when they are flowing so that when they are not flowing, you can grab an idea you saved and go with it.

Another way to have a constant flow of content creation ideas from which to choose is to join “The Almost Daily Digest” for new ideas, new templates and other cool content creation things.
