I Almost Forgot How To Write, But I’m Back.

Sometimes taking a break makes you feel more empowered to keep thriving.

Where do I start? Well, my name is Patty, I love to express my feelings on this beautiful platform where everyone can come and read and maybe connect with my thoughts, stories, and feelings.

I clearly have been gone for a hot minute that I almost forgot how to write! If you see my last article I wrote back in late summer, August to be exact. I clearly haven't written anything since. I have seen a few stats and I got a few reads and a few cents in my bank account from them. I think the most I have gotten was a dollar. I’m not mad at it because I know it's something (better than nothing) and that's just a number for me. I write with passion and my feeling for those to read and maybe relate like mentioned.

I was reading my old articles and thought to myself I must be doing something right since I gained a few followers and people are reading my stories. I been so busy with work, school, and believe it or not YouTube. I must say those are my most read articles. I finally meet my goal and reached 1k on YouTube and I'm over the moon about it! I think it's what's been keeping me busy and getting through this pandemic.

I said in the title “I Almost Forgot How To Write, But I’m Back” I said that because it's true I would log in to Medium and I honestly didn't know what to say or write. I was in this funk and today I’m writing to you to let you not only know that I’m back but if you ever felt this way it's OK you are not alone. Just remember that this platform is always going to be here and you can write about anything! I did notice the updates thought that for sure. But it has been a crazy year, but we will keep thriving!

Taking a break is always a good thing.

Thank you for reading this, I hope you are well and can relate!
