The first Secret Storyworld realm — that of spiritual inspiration — can be a hard sell. While we are a people who hunger for the sacred, we also have a keenly developed scientific side. The rational mind rejects that which can not be quantified.

And this most invisible of all the realms resists all attempts to prove its existence.

Even with a maverick field of science known as quantum physics (which might as well be called the study of the Invisible World), this realm remains well beyond our understanding.

We can only make guesses (hypotheses) about what resides here. We might as well call it Wizard School.

So in the Secret Storyworld, we do.

Our Wizardopolis School of Wizardry is the study of the invisible realm of magic. It is the first step of pulling an inspired idea out of the invisible field of all possibility.

We can get into all kinds of theoretical science terminology about what is happening here. Zero-point fields, collapsing the field with our attention, vibrating attracting molecules.

Or we may as well just GO to Wizard School, and explore here from the story lens of spiritual study.

So in the Secret Storyworld, we do.

Wizard study can include wizard walks and wandwork. What our rational mind calls spiritual practices of meditation and intentional focus.

It may include spells and incantations. Because our inner scientist might resist these practices of mantras and prayer.

It could include the study of spellbooks. Though our curious mind may find this — the study of sacred texts — academic enough to not require any renaming at all.

However, you choose to explore the spiritual realm has value.

Naming it Wizard School makes it a little easier to bypass the objective scientific mind and allow your subjective imagination to lead the way.

Because while someday we may have a breakthrough in comprehending this most invisible realm it probably won’t happen this year.

So we may as well go to Wizard School.

To GO to Wizard School you can take up your own independent field of study. Or you join the Secret Storyworld when it opens the Secret Book into Wizardopolis School of Wizardry in March each year.

Those mindful excursions into the invisible realms of our Spirit — the place where our most inspired ideas await us — make it much more likely that we can Write the World from the vantage point of our most inspirational and aspirational nature.

And that is the entire point of Wizard School.
