Hungarian Muppet

I refuse to be a muppet of Hungary’s oppressive regime, Where fear and hatred thrive, casting a suffocating dream. The echoes of Hitler, Mussolini, and Husseini persist, Toxic remnants poisoning society, a history never dismissed.

Hungary, soaked in the dark waters of animosity, Fails to learn from its past, trapped in hostility. In this nation, equality remains an elusive goal, As spirits cry out, from Nykobing Falster to Zagreb’s soul.

The subconscious whispers of racial purity on TV, Ignoring the impurity Hungarians face from the affluent decree. The puppet leader stokes tensions, defying the EU’s ways, Begging for aid, while rejecting norms, causing disarray.

But Hungary forgets its poverty, its immigrant-free plight, As the Hungarian camerawoman kicks an innocent’s light. In 2023, as a Black man in Hungary, I’m called the N-word, Yet you consider it normal, a label to be ignored.

Roma, Hungarian, labeled “Gypsy” in medieval chains, Blind to the narratives, diversity’s gains. LGBTQ+ yearn to be, to live authentically true, Why does Hungary feel threatened, so self-absorbed in its view?

I reject your Hitlerian beliefs, your twisted paranoia’s reign, I am a Black man, forever French, unbound by your disdain. If you desire a parallel universe of division and hate, Go forth, Hungary continues to be poor and miserable.

Stop crying for free speech when it fosters hate and division, Ethnic Hungarians, Whites, Christians, straight, your pride. I rest my case, Hungarian muppet, lost in your role, As you tumble into paranoia, losing touch with your soul.

I won’t mourn your fall into poverty’s grip, For your opposition to those within, the ones you strip. You joined the EU willingly, aware of the rules in place, Hungary, a nation ruled by muppets, I’ll contact the man in grace.

Trolls cannot be reasoned with, poverty breeds false hope, Incarceration, racial division, religious divide, a slippery slope. Turks, Russians, and Germans invaded in the past, But it’s no excuse to embrace hate and forever cast.

I refuse to be a Hungarian muppet, entangled in your strife, Unity, compassion, and progress should be my life.
