Humpty Dumpty — A Real Life Story
A limerick

I once held in my hands a beautiful egg, it fell — not the ground! — I heard myself beg, but all I heard was crash! snot and yolk, splash! some albumen clinging off of my leg.
Thank you so much to R. Rangan PhD for prompting me to try this limerick style poem! Read her amazing piece here:
And also huge thanks to Michael Burg, MD for kickstarting this limerick challenge, and for allowing me to submit to “Doctor Funny”, despite the fact that I am only 3/n way through to this title.
n usually represents 4 years but listen, if this pandemic lasts forever so will mine, as I rely on human behaviour data :(

A limerick is a form of verse, usually humorous and frequently rude, in five-line in which the first, second, and fifth lines rhyme, while the third and fourth lines are shorter and share a different rhyme. Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) also wants to note that this is actually a true story. When she told her friend, her friend drew this gorgeous photo to accompany it.
