In the office of Human Resources

They offer the staff lots of courses,

On how to behave

Whilst being enslaved

By elite managerial forces

Perhaps it is all the years I spent working in administration, but the first thing that immediately comes into my mind when I see the letter “H” and “R”, is Human Resources. While the HR department of any business does, of course, serve a vital role, I have to say, (with all due respect to anyone who works in HR), all those mandatory training courses and staff bonding days that they force us to attend are such a drag, especially when all you can concentrate on is how much work you aren’t getting done whilst you sit there in enforced social gatherings. And calculating how late you‘re going to have to stay into the evening in order to catch up on your mile-long list of tasks!!

Big thanks to Michael Burg, MD for tagging me in this H.R. prompt, and thank you to Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) at The Brain is a Noodle.

Tagging Denise G, GB Rogut, Edward Riley, Mr. Smith, Eva Rotolo, Aaron Quist, William J Spirdione, Tree Langdon, Galit Birk, PhD, Hilda Carroll, Jeff Ehren, Kent Clark, Vincent Pisano, and anyone else that would like to play. :)
