Human nature; Responses to November’s Writing Prompt Contest…..
Alertness is bliss
A few days ago, I hurriedly sent an email to my colleague addressing him as Dear Mr…….. with cc to many. Soon after, I realized my mistake and rushed to my colleague’s room.
Standing at the door, I said; did you check my email, I am extremely sorry for the mistake?
He said Yeah, I noticed your mistake. Don’t worry, to err is “human nature”. He laughed and continued, perhaps others too will laugh at it.
I said, no, it is a grave mistake, I should have been careful. I will send an apology to all for overlooking your name.
Can you guess my colleague’s name?
Please don’t worry, not every time you can predict correctly, it’s “Human nature”.
He is Mr Monken and by being unattentive, I made him Mr Monkey.
Although I laughed at that time;
Alertness is bliss and should be “Human nature”
Bygone are the days where our ancestor monkeys could scream ‘To err is human’. Tara Desai
Dear Warren, Thanking a good friend is “Human nature”. Many thanks my friend, Warren Brown
