Blackpink’s Lisa Stirs Controversy with Crazy Horse Performance

Lisa of the popular K-pop group Blackpink has expressed enthusiasm about performing at the legendary Crazy Horse Paris cabaret, despite facing criticism over the venue’s reputation. Some argue that her appearance there sets a poor example, as many of her fans are young girls.

On a popular South Korean social media site, one user slammed Lisa, saying, “She has become an ambassador for strippers.” Another mocking told her, “You may as well just work there.”

In response to the backlash, Lisa shared photos from the cabaret with an excited message about her shows there.

According reports, Lisa spent time backstage meeting the dancers and participated in secret rehearsals at Crazy Horse Paris in preparation. She has apparently long admired the renowned venue, as indicated on their website.

The 26-year-old Lisa, born in Thailand, made her debut as part of the massively popular Blackpink in 2016. Since launching her solo career in 2021, she has flourished on the music scene. Lisa is also a global ambassador for top luxury brands such as Celine and Bulgari, demonstrating her influence in fashion.

With her single “Money” achieving over 1 billion streams on Spotify as the first K-pop soloist to do so, Lisa’s star continues to rise tremendously both in music and beyond. However, her scheduled performances at the risqué Crazy Horse Paris continue to be a topic of debate.
