How YOU Can Help Ukraine Now
We are all at war. Let’s use the weapons we have — our time, money, attention, and words!

Gone are the days when wars are fought with only Guns and Tanks. We are all at war. And, in the words of Nelson Mandela, “war is fought with words.”
The Russian invasion of Ukraine may be waged with guns and tanks, but it is also fought online. We must use our words and actions to take a stand against oppression and injustice. Staying neutral only benefits the oppressor. We must speak out against Russia’s war on Ukraine!
How can you help Ukraine? Here are a few suggestions!
- Share articles and information about the Russian invasion of Ukraine on social media. Keep up to date on what is happening in Ukraine, and share this information with your friends and family. The more people are aware of what is going on, the more pressure we can put on our government to take a stand against Russia’s aggression.
- Write blogs/posts: If you feel passionate about what is happening in Ukraine, consider writing a blog/post expressing your views. This is a great way to raise awareness among your friends and family, as well as people who may not be familiar with the conflict.
- Contact your local representatives and urge them to take a stand against Russia’s aggression. Contact your local representatives and let them know that you oppose Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Urge them to take a stand against Russian aggression, and support the Ukrainian people’s right to self-determination.
- Sign petitions protesting Russia’s actions in Ukraine. Several online petitions are circulating right now urging the US government and other world leaders to take action against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Signing these petitions is another easy way to show your support for Ukrainians’ right to freedom and democracy.
- Attend protests and rallies supporting Ukrainians’ right to self-determination. Many protests are happening around your country in support of Ukrainians’ right to determine their own future. Attend one of these events, or organize your own, to show your support for the Ukrainian people.
- Donate money or supplies to organizations working with Ukrainian refugees. Donate money or supplies (such as clothing, food, and medical supplies) to these organizations to help them continue their work.
- Volunteer with or donate to organizations helping displaced Ukrainians rebuild their lives. Volunteer your time or donate money to these organizations to help them reach more people who need assistance.
- Talk to your friends and family about what is happening in Ukraine and why it matters. One of the best ways to support the Ukrainian people is to talk about what is happening in Ukraine with our friends and family. Share articles, information, and photos on social media, and have discussions with the people we know about why we should be concerned about Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
- Educate yourself about the history and culture of Ukraine, and share what you learn with others. Knowledge is power! The more we know about the conflict in Ukraine, the better equipped we will be to talk to others about it. Read books articles, and watch documentaries about Ukrainian history and culture.
Conclusion:
Everybody cannot do everything. But everybody can do something!
The Russian invasion of Ukraine is a critical issue that we should all be paying attention to. By taking a stand and raising awareness, we can help the Ukrainian people fight for their right to freedom and democracy. Please join me in speaking out against Russia’s aggression, and supporting the Ukrainian people during this difficult time. Thank you!
