Time-Prose-poem
How would you use the gift of time?
If you had limitless time
In a world where anything is possible and the impossible is now possible. What would you do, when it was possible to have an abundance of time? Time as we know it has always been limited and we live our fragile lives withing this mortal framework of hours, minutes and seconds. Time is such a precious element of our human existence and yet we take it for granted and squander it at any chance we get. Save your time and use it well, it is not a commodity you can buy or sell.
If time was available in limitless quantities and we could use it to live our lives to the fullest, what would you do? Would a man or a woman spend more time falling in love and keeping that love, to cherish it for years, or would love be treated like a toy, to be toyed with and discarded, like a rag doll. Romance and love will always be the foundation of civilizations in history.
If there was no limit to the time we could live and enjoy in our earthly existence, we would naturally have to be immortals of some type. If life ceased to be a march towards the dreary end, would we take full advantage of all that life can offer or would we just waste every day? A complete and fulfilled human existence will make us whole, and the grave is not the goal.
If time was infinite for humanity to enjoy, perhaps we could travel into the far reaches of outer space, knowing that it would be possible. If time was limitless for every human being, we would have generations of a family all living and enjoying the wonders of civilization at the same time. Limitless time would make us pioneers, eager to travel beyond our celestial spheres.
If time was limitless, we would be immortals and we would be like tiny human Gods on this world. The concept of the afterlife would cease to exist, if an individual could never die. Time is limited at present, due to our mortal state of being. The knowledge of the cosmos and the keys to eternity would be the miracles of our new humanity.
If your time was limitless in this world from tomorrow, would you live your life in a different way or ways? It would be possible for you to live a hundred lives, to fall in and out of love a thousand times, to spend time with generations of your family, to take up a hundred professions and to maximize your human potential for all eternity. Would an abundance of time be a blessing or a curse, only time will tell? Cherish your time and use it well, it is not yet a commodity that you can buy or sell. In the future you could have a hundred clocks that ring and chime, like a musical orchestra and a windchime.
