How Wealthy Gurus Easily Exploit People For Big Profits

Some of the most successful people online are full of it.

I haven’t read an original thought by an online guru in over a decade. Yet for some reason, I keep reading more and more content.

At this point, it’s just my morbid curiosity wanting to see if anything they are saying has changed after all this time.

More often than not, it hasn’t.

It’s the same recycled content that has been rehashed and rewritten since the dawning of the internet. By this point, we have all heard it.

We all have to live in an entrepreneurial box of conformity before we can have a crumb of success.

What a load of crap.

For years I desperately wanted to be a part of the club of people who make a living online.

Following in the footsteps of people who take advantage of those who are desperate for any information on how to do it.

After more than ten failed businesses, I have finally figured out the big secret.

Hustle culture is toxic.

It’s intentionally designed to burn you out.

It’s made to make you feel like you will never be good enough until you read one more article or watch one more video.

Yet the outcome is always the same.

You’re not learning anything new and not growing or building a viable business.

Stuck in the endless loop of consuming articles and videos, looking for the next nugget of truth.

But the only truth you will ever find is within yourself.

You have to find your voice.

It’s easier than most of these gurus want you to believe.

They don’t want you to find your voice. They want you to listen to theirs’.

When you’re too busy listening to the gurus, you’re too busy to become a threat.

All you need to do is this.

• Stop feeding into hustle culture.
• Work at your own pace.
• Find your voice.

You don’t have to get up at five in the morning to be a better writer like some of these people will have you believe. There’s also no need to only get five hours of sleep at night so you can spend your off time hustling.

It might work for them, but it might not work for you. When it doesn’t work for you, you feel like a failure.

Stop trying to force yourself into a box. You’re better than that. Real change has to come from within, not a 20-minute youtube video.

And what do you do then?

You run right back to the comforting words of the guru. Still left with nothing of substance. No real clear path has been given to you because it doesn’t exist.

Do yourself a favor and stop looking for the clear cut path to the answers to all of your problems.

It’s time for you to come up with what success looks like to you.

Define your version of success

This is the most important thing you can do.

Once you decide what success looks like to you, the hardest part of all of this is already done.

Whether the dream is to quit your day job or make a living at home, start small.

Reach for the stars, but set realistic expectations for the journey.

For example:

Do you think it’s easier to make $100 online or $1?

That’s simple. It’s easier to make $1.

Have small goals that will push you towards your version of success.

Starting with these complex and large goals in mind does nothing but disappoint you at the end of the day.

Which ultimately leads to burnout and giving up.

Thus the cycle repeats like a hamster on a wheel.

Stop being sold other people’s version of success

When I was younger and more naive I envisioned success as:

• Having money.
• Having a ton of friends.
• Having a ton of sex.
• A kick-ass car with a massive home in California.

I’m not saying these aren’t viable goals to have.

More power to people who have goals like these and finally accomplish them.

However, there was something I wasn’t understanding.

They weren’t my ideas of success.

They were someone else. Implanted in my brain by marketing techniques.

Leading my impulsive mind on a wild goose chase.

The day I figured out these aren’t the goals that I wanted for myself, my entire life changed for the better.

I started creating content I was proud of.

I began writing about a popular video game at the time.

Something I loved, something that made me happy.

And guess what? I found my success.

I started making money online consistently and was able to do something I had always wanted to do.

In Summary

Stop following in the footsteps of people who are pretending to have found success and march to a different beat.

You don’t have to do affiliate marketing or build a massive following, you just have to follow your heart.

When you follow you hear you will eventually find your voice.

Finding your voice is one of the most successful things a human being will ever do.
