Summary

The web content discusses the importance of trust and grace in overcoming worry and facing life's challenges, particularly in the context of the current global pandemic.

Abstract

The article titled "How Very Wasteful Is To Worry" emphasizes the teachings of Jesus about the Lilies of the Field, advocating for trust in God's grace rather than succumbing to worry, especially in times of crisis like the current pandemic. It explains the law of seed and harvest, highlighting that God's grace is always available to those who seek it with a willingness to do good. The text underscores that grace is not a one-way street; it requires faith accompanied by good deeds. By purifying our thoughts and actions, we can attract divine intervention and create a positive atmosphere that counteracts negative forces. The author suggests that sorrow and pain are human-induced and not God's will, and that by being conscious of God's grace, life can be harmonious and joyful. The article also recommends further reading from George J Ziogas on using Stoic wisdom to navigate challenges.

Opinions

  • There is a strong emphasis on the role of grace in human life, which is described as abundant and accessible through faith and good deeds.
  • The concept of a reciprocal relationship with the divine is presented, where human actions and intentions influence the grace received.
  • The article posits that negative experiences such as sorrow and pain are not inherent to life but are introduced by human actions, contrary to the divine will.
  • The author encourages readers to seek spiritual guidance and to be aware of the manifold manifestations of grace in the universe.
  • A recommendation is made to explore Stoic wisdom as a complementary approach to handling life's crises, as presented in George J Ziogas's work.

How Very Wasteful Is To Worry

The story of the ‘Lilies Of The Field’ affirms the need to TRUST instead.

I believe most of us are familiar with Jesus’ teaching about the Lilies of the field. He affirmed the need not to worry about anything, especially about one’s material needs. I believe we need this advice now more than before, because of the trend in today’s events.

The current pandemic in the world today has given us a great cause for concern. Fear has gripped all of us, and in most cases, we have no clue what to do next.

The Law Of Seed And Harvest

What we need to understand is that although the law of reciprocal action is strict in its application to whatever is affecting us, and probably the cause of our disturbance, it also has THE GRACE OF GOD woven into it. This means that we will always have mercy shown to us, as soon as our volition is towards what is good.

And this GRACE abounds in the capacity that we need it. It never runs out, but as in all else, it is us that we must open ourselves to receive it.

What has this to do with not having to worry, you may ask? It has a lot to do with it because we have ‘’HELP AT THE TIME OF NEED’, and we just have to ask for that help each time we are concerned about certain issues of life.

The Grace of God differs from the Luciferian merciless temptation and seduction of human spirits to sin. Indeed it is the opposite, because, ‘’IT IS THE FATHER’S DESIRE THAT YOU PROSPER AND DO WELL’’. It is all for our good, always.

The Law Of Balance

The application of this law is that nothing goes for nothing. It is the same as the law of giving and receiving. What are we giving out on our part to be able to draw the GRACE into our situation, to provide us with the succour we need at the time of crises?

Trust in God and His Holy Will. TRUST is the basis for the help from God coming to us, to intervene in time of need.

The concept of Grace is therefore not one-sidedly. It is not obtained through faith alone if faith is not followed by the good deed. It shows we have a part to play in it as well.

It means we can experience the extra-ordinary if we strive to give purity to our inner perception and thoughts, followed by good deeds. This will create a sort of light atmosphere around us, which will definitely have an effect on all that is earthly.

What we feel or see is an upbuilding spiritual current, which disintegrates and loosens dark forces. This can mean that we may have that strange guidance and providence, or in a symbolic effect that we can say, things could have been worse.

There are so many manifestations of Grace, which the Creator has permitted us to enjoy in this vast universe, only if we are conscious of it.

Our life can be in complete harmony and joy. For sorrow and pain are not necessary for it. Sorrow and pain are brought in by man alone. They are not willed by God.

How often we beg that God’s Grace may be upon us. Have we even considered for once where the GRACE OF GOD Lies?
